After spending so many years in technology, I recently ran across some articles about Ray Noorda. Before I espouse accolades and flaunt his accomplishments, is anyone else familiar with this "unknown god" which I am publishing in this temple?
I would be interested in hearing other technophile's viewpoints about Ray and people like Bob Metcalfe and Dr. Eric Schmidt.
Just wanted to start a new thread, void of religion.

Dr. Eric Schmidt showed promise yet dropped the ball just like the two before him.
Bob Metcalfe: Genius, but got screwed by the same juggernaut that has evicerated the ship that Dr. Schmit helms.
I may not be completely up on Ray's accomplishments, but he inherited a sinking ship from Bob Frankenburg? ne pas?
