Just out of morbid interest, and I'm quite certain no one has the answer....

Sorry... being a little vague I know. What I meant is that all other objective questions: who, what, where, when, how, would not be asked without the why. All beliefs are based on the why. So maybe I just want a synopsis from those who have espoused a specific belief. Was it just arbitrary? Or can you answer the why?

    How about: Why not?

Asking why is a never ending road. Asking means you have to find out. Be careful though. After finding out you may be saying: I don't understand. That's when why pops back up. As in: Why don't you understand? Why is a question that can never be answered. It goes on and on and on. I usually duck over to: I don't know, and leave it at that.

I have that problem of asking why too often. My wife will say,"We need to do so and so, and I will ask why?
