How to make $360 in three minutes

  Today I needed to update some payment information for my Cable service. After taking care of that with a billing rep I asked her to transfer me to the sales department.

  When I got the sales rep I simply asked her if I might qualify for any promotional discounts right now... and she immediately said YES! Just like that I was able to knock about $30 a month off my bill for 12 months or about $360.

  Not bad for a three minute phone call!!!

  Give it a shot! The worst that can happen is they will say no!

  Gday Mate, You didnt make 360 in 3 minutes you only saved it. Just like my wife when she goes to the sales she doesnt make anything because she actually spends money.

  I know where you're coming from. I normally think the say way... but the Cable TV / Cable Modem is a fundamental necessity. A penny saved is a penny earned!

  Yeh, when something is guaranteed to cost X amount and you've spent less, its more money in your pocket.
