Christian groups are "launched" into Indonesia to help. All christian world helps as it can - someone more, someone less, but christians don't stand in silent. What WT do? Is there any offical statements from them. I think ppl would not have nothing against them if they saw that WT does real charity work.

Indonesia is predominantly Muslim. If my memory serves me correctly, there may be an insignificant number of JW's there. They'd be the only ones watchtower would help anyway. All they ever do primarily, is help their own.

When the Tsunami occurred, the local branches tried to cover the needs of JWs. I'm assuming the same will happen in this case. We'll see.
