WTS criticizes Catholics for their use of the confessional. They assert that sins should only be confessed to God since only He can forgive them, not a priest.
But is that system used by Catholics, where a beleiver can unload guilt in confidence, really any worse then the WTS syetem of confessing, or rather,
being cross examined not by one, but by THREE, almost complete strangers who swear no oath of confidentiality, who suffer no consequences as a result of their
divulging the confidences of a Congregant, and their claims that only after there has been confesstion to THEM, then they JUDGE repentance and only through them can a congregant's
past sins be forgiven. No JW ELder SHOULD EVER BE TRUSTED WITH A CONFIDENCE.
