New Name and Mailing Address for the Dubs

  I just got a letter from the Dubs today. On the envelope it says it is from Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Patterson, NY. It was a very short 2 paragraph letter:

  We received your letter wherein you explain that you have had difficulties with certain individuals in the congregation. You tell us that some have made "catty and rude comments." Because we are not familiar with the circumstances you describe, we are writing to the elders of the West Congregation (city and state deleted), requesting their comments on what you have written.
  We pray that Jehovah God will continue imparting to you his spirit and godly wisdom so that you may continue handling all of your affairs in harmony with his will and purpose. We send our warm Christian love.

  What does everyone think of this? Should I be expecting the mobile inquisition at my door soon?

  The elders will send back a letter in reply to their
  inquiry that politely and discreetly describes what
  a spiritually weak jerk you are. You may then get
  a reply telling you how concerned the local elders are
  for your spiritual welfare.

  They're gonna take the side of the local elders 99.9%
  of the time - even if the elders admitted lying or
  covering up child molestation or just about any crime
  or sin you can think of. That's the way it is
