  The reproduction of the handwritten stipulation about the $500 bond to be forfeited for quoting Watch Tower publications looks suspiciously like J F Rutherford's own handwriting. Rutherford supposedly produced the original signature that was copied until very recently from letters signed [anonymously] "Watchtower Bible and Tract Society". Does anyone have a long enough sample of Rutherford's handwriting to check this against?

  Yes Gamaliel that does look alot like Rutherford's handwriting. This points to The Finished Mystery published in 1917 as the "postumous" works of Russell, who died in 1916. Am I the only one who finds that whole thing very suspicious? Russell died and Rutherford assumed command against his wishes, and proceeds to make many changes that Russell never wanted, and of course you all know what happened next. That sounds like Rutherford had been planning his actions for a long time beforehand. As for Russell's death, it has always seemed a little ambiguous to me, like too much of a coincidence. But I'm probably wrong.
