Do you know anyone on the lists?

On last nights program, out of Ohio, the police had heard of PJ's success in catching these scumbags and enlisted PJ'S services.

Next Wednesday nights program is #5 in the series.

Then this morning OPERATION FALCON was announced.

MEMO TO TED JARACZ AND LEGAL DEPT @ WATCHTOWER HEADQUARTERS: "OPERATION WATCHING TOWER"

WE ARE COMING AFTER YOU. ALL IT TAKES IS ONE MOLE IN EACH CONGREGATION TO START THE BALL ROLLING. CONSIDER YOURSELVES ALERTED.

When I first leaned of PJ, probably more than a year ago, I thought they were the best thing since sliced bread, and they are still awfully close, BUT there is definitely a group mentality over there, a "we can do no wrong" attitude. When Victor Von Doom was criticized for his verbal attacks on a police detective who did not fully agree with Victor's opinion that a runaway was an innocent flower pure as wind blown snow, and Victor actively campaigned to terminate the career of one of the good people of law enforcement that took the dirty job of getting scumbag abusers off the street, no one from his clique would even consider the possibilitity that Victor had gone too far and was abusing his position.

What Victor and his posse are doing is important and necessary, but if there are no cops to drag the perps into jail Victor's efforts won't go very far.

We need cops. We need tough cops. We need experienced cops. If their experience has led them to see the world through lenses a bit less rosy than we would like, let's not blame the cops for that.

    Respectfully Nathan,

It seems that you have not seen the DATELINE series, working with PJ, I speak of. The cops are undercover all over the neighborhood during these stings. Once the perp leaves the decoy house, they are arrested.

On last nights program, they even showed the jail cell they were all herded in together.

I encourage you to go to the sites I've linked and read the arrest list and watch video.

    Sincerely, sKally

    Hi sKally,

I was talking about something that happened about a year ago out here in Washington State, where PJ is based. The case at that time concluded with VVD's public condemnation of one of the detectives involved in the case because the detective was not as technically saavy as VVD and his crew, and because the detective had the audacity to suggest that the abducted kid had some responsibility for what happened to her because she had a prior pattern of run-away behavior. She was looking for excitement, and she found trouble. For that observation VVD and PJ wanted the cop fired from his job, tarred and feathered. In my opinion VVD thinks just a little too much of himself.

This Dateline series went a long way to undermine my believing wife's faith in the organisation.

Watchtower preaches: Myspace.com BAD, Internet BAD! with no specific instruction or experiences outlining the nature of on-line predators and unwitting child victims.

Dateline teaches: The culture, shows myspace.com's system, history and faults. Shows the prevalence of predators. Profiles 3 girls and their mothers who get scammed by an officer in myspace, and leaves you empowered to make your own decisions about on-line communities.

While JWs are afraid to even type myspace.com (as a "tool of Satan") into their browsers, the "world" is handed a tool box for the protection of their children.

Now who is handling this better?

I have been a volunteer for Perverted Justice for about two years. I think it's awesome what they do, and I hope that more law enforcement agencies will take advantage of their capabilities, without demonizing them. Once this crime is brought out into the open, and possible pedophiles exposed, I think this may have an effect, if it hasn't already.

Most guys show up at the rented house with the excuse that "Oh, I wasn't going to DO anything. I was just going to hang out with the girl" or: "I was just going to have a talk with her about the dangers of meeting men on the Internet". The cops come and find six packs of alcohol, condoms, video cams, etc. One guy even showed up a SECOND time after he had been featured on the FIRST Dateline special!

This begs the question: "They know the cops are out there. Why would they risk their whole lives for the possibility of a sexual liason with an underaged minor"? I think my husband has always been opposed to my doing this. After all, I have to engage total strangers in some sexual banter, as a 13 year old. What it gets ME is satisfaction that this person is showing his colors, and showing the LAW his colors, as I record every chat. It helps me know I am doing SOMETHING to help stop these child predators. CG
