  What you don't appreciate, my German friend, is that common people don't have any sense.

  Hardly anyone in the world believed the irrefutable evidence in the Holy Scriptures that Jehovah would destroy wicked mankind in 1975. It was so obvious..It could be proved mathematically and just by viewing the world around us at the time.

  Those with common sense gave up their further education or careers and some even took out huge loans knowing that they would never have to repay them.

  Those with no common sense were so stupid as to just get on with their lives.

  A little common sense goes a long way, as they say but when beautiful promises come in the way the rational mind may cease working. So the JWs can't see that their own common sense doesn't work.
