I have yet to get published, but I'm tired of being an accounant and I'm trying to get a writing career started (I'm well into a series of novels). Getting some smaller pieces of one sort or another would help.

I think an article on JWs, control and shunning might have some potential. The question to Richie about contacting his elders got me started thinking about this. I'd like to collect a few good shunning stories, contact the elders involved and put together something. I suspect that the elders won't say anything but general nonsense, but even that would say a lot to the general public: "If they have the truth, why are they afraid to talk about it?"

A side benefit might be to rattle the cage of some elder that ticked you off.

If you're interested, post something, PM me, or e-mail [email protected]

All info will be treated with strict confidentiality. I'd like to have something together in time to send to newspapers about the time DC season starts and they're sending out they're mr. happy press releases. My wife and I DA'd ourselves in 1989 and we have no family issues, so I'm not to worried about anybody knowing who I am.

Why don't you put in your book the pictures from the "Flock" book that Ritchie stole? :D That's a good idea! Devot a special chapter to it like what Ray did with his 2 books. :)

You should definetly mention the problems they have with pedophilia and record keeping and the fact that hardly anyone gets baptized at conventions. Bring some of the stories here into your book on that subject. Talk about randcam -- things not in Ray's books.
