I recently stumbled upon a site that indicated a Jehovah's Witness cemetery. I wondered if there might be others? I conducted a search and voila.

    Kingdom Farm Cemetery http://www.rootsweb.com/~nytompki/cemeteries/kingdom_farm_cem.htm

    Burke County, North Carolina http://rfci.net/wdfloyd/JehoWit.html

    There are several in Canada.

    Alberton http://www.gov.pe.ca/infopei/index.php3?number=968&lang=E

    Chisholm Township http://nocgg.maddoc.net/nipissin/chisholm/jehova/page0001.htm

Cooks Harbour (St. Barbe District) http://ngb.chebucto.org/Cemetery/cem-cooks-hr-jw-stb.shtml Trout Creek, Ontario http://webhome.idirect.com/~griffish/gene/cem/cemj.html

If you know of any others, please feel free to add them.

I went to the Kingdom Farm cemetary when I was about 10 years old - 50 years ago. Back then they did not have any head stones because that was making an idol out of the dead person. They said Jehovah knew where they were buried and could resurrect them after Armageddon.

I can see the logic behind this.

First, in some areas, cemeteries may all be owned or associated with churches.

Second, it could be a cost factor. JWs buy other commodities from each under the guise of saving money, why not cemetery plots.

I noticed that one goes back to 1898, the Bible Student times.

There's also a small cemetery at WT Farms in Wallkill NY...near Farm 2...on a hill...pretty non descript...about 10 -12 prominent annointed buried there...bethelites "affectionately" call it..."the launching pad"...

One thing that struck me about that cemetary is no headstones, just flat things on the ground. how typically low-key, nothing that so much as smacks of any pride or images or symbols or anything that could be construed as flashy. sooooo JW

How ridiculous! They really go too far with their loopy ideas.

My thought would be that a JW Cemetery is a goofy idea. Do all the headstones have doorbells and knockers on them?
