Blood question

I went back a few threads on this and have'nt seen it brought up. since many of you good people are former JW's, and since blood seems to be such a huge issue at this forum, do you now donate blood?

I personally do not - but have done in the past -if I was asked, I probably would.

Yes I donate blood yearly now.

Sure do. Once every 60 days or so. The local blood bank only keeps 40 units of my type (B+) on hand and sometimes the demand is greater than the supply.

I think that if I tried to donate blood, I'd end up getting a transfusion. I've always been anemic, but not bad enough to receive a blood transfusion. On the otherhand, I did sign my license to become an organ donor if I were to die.
