You say you are a researcher. Don't guess. Do the legwork. AFTER you do all that you can do, then ask for assistance if it is needed.

That's the same that I have heard from my grandmother. I haven't seen him since I was a kid, I remember playing tic tac toe with him and him letting me win most of the time. He used to visit my grandparents alot when we lived in NY.
