I also loved him in a little known, but cherished by me personally, movie called Melody. He starred in it with Mark Lester, his co-star from Oliver!.

WOW...I had no idea he was that old. I guess because I watched syndicated HR Puff as a kid in the late 70s, early 80s I assumed he was younger..............................even though his age was way too young to go that way.
I need to stop smoking soon.....

Cancer seems to be bringing down a lot of people lately. Two co-workers died this year already and one co-worker's husband. Maybe it just I'm getting old.

Yes. Did you read about how he had to have part of his tongue removed and some of his vocal cord? He still acted in plays in mime. Got to admire his moxey.
This also shows how stardom can affect kids. They said he drank heavily from an early age.
