I get email updates from this site, it helps me know what's happening in the universe around me.

Canadian friends take note, there is a strong chance of aurora display tonight.

solar flares from the sun bring us after effects unkown to non-radio buffs.

it distorts the atmosphere, specifically the ionisphere, and radio waves are exagerated to a great degree making around the world communications possible.

the past couple of years have brought us a heavy deluge of sun spot activity, as this phenomenon runs in 11 year cycles. we are now on the down turn, but who cares? there are wtbts fish to fry instead of babbling nonsence to peeps on the other side of the planet with the power it takes to light a night light.

opps...i think i may have given my self away a bit....

    an amatuer radio enthusiest.
