Is this "on-going" investigation regarding the brother who was in the Alpine, CA congregation? If it is, I know of a couple current ex-jw's who were there in the 70's.(I was there from around '81 to the early 90's) It would take a little bit of investigative work to track them down, but I think it would be possible. If you're not referring to the same person, then disregard.
