Not sure if they have read the issue you are referring to or not, but they read this one!

WT-77-8-15-p.-486 . However, there is this conflicting point to consider: In discussing the results of the Japanese survey, Professor Sanshiro Shirakashi says that it was found that “in general, young people throughout the world believe in some type of religion.” (Journal of Church and State, Autumn 1976, p. 523) Interestingly, the largest percentage of those surveyed claimed to believe in the “Christian” religion of the churches of Christendom. Yet the Bible plainly condemns fornication and adultery. So we must conclude that these churches are not leading the young people to uphold Biblical morality.

It's a good job they don't celebrate Christmas. Their lawyers can work on it over the holidays maybe?

Thank you Marvin. Pardon my detail-orientation here...can you verify if they have read the entire essay straight out of the Journal itself?

I predict that at some point in the future they will quote from it.

But like they usually do, the quote they use will be taken out of context

Lee - who is in the prediction business at this very moment
