Hi y'all. I'm thinking of ordering this. Is it worth buying? Anything good in it that we don't already know of after a few years perusing jw-related sites? Recommend it? What is Mr Gruss' background?
I have it, read it, recommend it.
You might check if it available as a used book; I've seen it as low as $12.

Just finished reading mine last night.
Yes there are things I did not know. A lot more info about Knorr and Franz that I had never seen anywhere.That was a real eyeopener.
The appendix and the footnotes (almost half the book) are full of info.
And the section on changed beliefs is awesome.
this book has a lot of hard to find info in it. really goes into the 1910's - 1920's etc, lots of rutherFRAUD STUFF. i don't like how the book is formated. but the list of info , and old wt quotes is worth the $20, i've been researching the wt day and night for the last 7 years. and this book has taught me things i never known.. it's worth the $$$$$$$. john
