I went shopping last night around 1 in the morning and the late-night crew did all they could to assist me, and they were so nice. It brings my heart great cheer when strangers show empathy and kindnss, and more so when acquaintances do the same. I had a very nice phone call with AlmostAtheist last night and he obliged me by letting me ramble on, and I thank him for letting my big mouth blather and blather. I dunno, I guess I'm being a softie today, but life is made so much more precious when genuine love, compassion, and empathy is shared with good motives. Thanks for hearing me out. I love you all. :)

I made the decision a few years ago to treat everyone with kindness.
Most of the time it is easy.
But every now and then I run into someone who tries my patience (and believe me that takes a lot)
It would be so easy to lash out (in here to type out) a response that would hurt or shame someone.
I walk away. I go for a roll downstairs or go read a book or pick up my knitting. I just get away from what or who is irritating me.
At the end of the day I can feel good about myself.
That is a nice way to go to sleep at night
