Thank you for posting, Clarity - i've got this on my wish list at Amazon. I appreciate Living the Dream for de-mystifying Bethel for people like me who swallowed all the bunk and hokum about the great printery.

I got it on Kindle 2 days ago and am reading it now. Its very good. I am at the part about him questioning the Bethel Elders about why witness men can't have facial hair, made me laugh so hard. He seems to have a wicked sense of humour.

    Hi folks,

It's LivingTheDream, back again after a 2 year hiatus.

My new book is based on the JWN postings I made. But, it is more than that. I had many more stories to tell, so I put all my original stories into chronological order, fleshed them out with more backdrop and context and added new stories to the mix. I took over a year and a half to reflect on everything to make sure it is as as accurate and honest as possible.

My wife, who is a non-Witness and who never even knew one before meeting me, gave me all sorts of input as to how to make all that JW jargon understandable for the non-witness too. You see, I wanted this book to be for everybody, a book you could give to your non-witness friends as well, so that they can understand your life's experiences just a little better. I wanted to make it funny and entertaining for folks like that, so it isn't just a dry read about doctrinal issues that many people just don't care about. I wanted people to see things from a side that I think is very important: the human side.
