Announced that two Ohio circuits are to be dissolved including 5 congregations. Congregations in the dissolved circuits will be assigned to two existing circuits. The excuse the letter offered is that people are moving, or that people are retiring and leaving the area. Changes go into effect September 2014.

Did the dubs get all excited about it or a bit cheesed off? We were in a funny area of the country, between two circuits, one assembly location was 15mins away, the other an hour and 30 mins. We always got assigned to the one far away and it pissed a lot of JW's off, especially the old and infirm.
It leaves you feeling like a logistical issue, not a cared for congregation. It wasn't as much of an issue to cause real questioning etc, but a lot of JW's would ignore the assigned assembly and go to the nearer one, which is a start I guess.....

It might be thinning out in the English community but unfortunatelly in the Spanish community it seems like its booming. Im currently working on a small docummentary concerning the techniques used by JW's. Any help to make this a better explained documentary would be great. Their is so much information out their to choose from but i know i cant do this alone. This is important it will educate our local communities about what this organization does to the lives of those who where born into it. Please help

It may be related to the economic devastation of the Midwest. This was the heart of the industry complex of the U.S. I grew up in the Midwest, my father and most fathers worked in factories. Those factories no longer exist and people migrate to where the jobs are.
