  Creationists like to say evolution is “only a theory.” Well, Hebrew mythology is also only a theory about how the universe works, and a totally lame one at that. There’s all kinds of evidence proving just how lame this theory is. Unfortunately, it’s all very cleverly buried in the Bible, where no one ever looks. “Yahweh Flunked Science,” a unique, funny, 21st century assessment, gets right to the point and reveals what the all-too-human ancient authors of Scripture really thought. For every flash of genius, there are a dozen things the All-Knowing Creator of the Universe is shockingly misinformed about. Nothing big, just all the things He supposedly invented – trivial stuff like the earth, the heavens, etc … and even stuff He’s supposedly good at, like morality and justice. And for each pretty sentiment in the Good Book, we get four or five that are totally barbaric. It’s all broken down here, all the perverted, psychotic stuff the Bible has to offer, but without the preachers’ guilt trips that keep you from focusing on what it really says. It’s time to stop arguing with believers in fairy tales. Let’s hear them out, and enjoy a few laughs as we point out the ridiculousness of their quaint notions. Then, when we’re finished indulging them, let’s turn the conversation back over to the adults.

  I thought the title was interesting.

  But I am not sure if this book is worth ordering, that is, paying money for.

  Each person will have to decide that for themselve.

  Trouble, joke-hova flunked more than just science. That thing wants us to be stupid--the better to enslave us. And the less we know about science, the easier it is for joke-hova to do just that.

  No wonder Satan views stupidity as a sin.

  Yeah, I've always felt the best approach to countering claims of God being the "intelligent designer" is to EXAMINE the EVIDENCE of His knowledge of his own designs, given in the Bible.

  Seems reasonable, since if someone you just met claims to be a professional watch designer for Timex, you'd expect them to KNOW what the function of the wrist strap, main spring, big/little hand, etc are. If they DON'T know, then you can confidently dismiss their claims as braggadagio.

  In that regard, God fails on knowing even the basic elements of "His" design, not knowing the basics of animal/human anatomy, physiology, ecology, cosmology, climatology, etc. Instead, God comes off suspiciously as if he were raised in an ancient culture where humans believed in the firmament to which stars and planets were attached, the organ of cognition was the heart, the organs for absorption of information were the lungs (via the ears), the kidneys served a role in human emotions, etc.

  In typical JW fashion, they invent his ignorance by declaring silly stuff like "Did you KNOW that whenever the Bible speaks of science, it is NOT wrong?" Sure, that claim is plausible if the person is completely IGNORANT of the past 2,000 yrs of scientific knowledge and what their Bible contains.

  Dude, it's hard to tell from your comment if you KNOW this, but you don't still BELIEVE in Jehovah, do you, even in spite of all the evidence that points to him being a character from ancient mythology, the creation of men's minds?

  IF so, then.... well, THERE'S the problem!
