  At one of the last meetings I was at 2 years ago, one of the Kingdom songs that they sang, had a verse in it that said something about the people in the world being like Angry Bees .... or Molested Bees or something like that. In all the years I had been in the Org. (my whole life) I had somehow missed this ridicioulous verse. I heard people snickering and tee-hee's all over the Hall and people looking around to see if anyone else noticed how odd this phrase was. It was a big topic for discussion immediatly afterward. No one else had heard of it before either. Does anyone else remember this one? That song along with everything else that I had been piecing together to that point, made me realize how out of touch with reality our leaders were.

  I got rid of all my literature some time ago, but now wish I had the song book so I could look this one up for affirmation and for the sheer comedy of it . I hear now they have updated the songs and I'm sure that one was the first one dropped.

  Anyone remember the song number of have a scan of it ?

  yes, it was molested bees or something, it definitely said molest and bees.

  I think I remember singing that one a few times, it wasn't often though, I think it was one of those songs that hardly made it into rotation because of that verse.

  Haha! Yeah, me and my cousins were rollin every time we sang that song but I had forgotten about the "beat them off" part!

  Also, it should be noted that it is "bees", plural, therefore the rule of two witnesses would allow judicial charges to be leveled against the perpetrator if at least two of the bee victims spoke up.

  Amazing...within minutes, you guys had an answer !! Seeing the words laid out like this makes them seem even more ridiclous than I remember. I was so taken aback by the "Molested" part...that the "Beating them off with divine protection" part didn't even register. Maybe that was mostly why people were snickering so much!

  I just remember when this verse was sung, my Wife rolled her eyes and looked over at me.

  Her expression was... "You have GOT to be kidding !!"

  I bet those poor bees were told to STFU about their molestation or they would be DF'd.

  I remember being 10 years old and signing that and laughing. But then I'd look around and no one else was laughing. Obviously molestation is not something we talk about.

  Sadly this song was eliminated from the new songbook. It had a fairly nice tune.
