As many of you know, while I was already a member of this forum and very much awake I became an elder. So, there is no Holy Spirit involved on those appoinments boys and girls.

I tried my best wake up people, but is not that easy you know.

Months later I decided it was enough and decide to move away. I can't give you any details at the moment, but ...

Rumor has it, I am not an elder anymore. Thanks for asking :)

I would love to get to know you personally, I do not think I got appointed by the holy spirit when I was appointed MS. I was MS for 3 years. You can PM me if you would like to talk about it.

Witness people I know resent elders. Elders resent "other" elders. There's been no obvious love or unity between elders I know, just competition, manipulation, and trickery. It takes about two seconds for one elder to throw another elder under the bus.

It's just like any other crap pot . . . the turds float to the top.

In one case, a brother had moved to the US from another country and said he was an elder. The elders got a letter back from his congregation saying things were fine and he was appointed. One week later another letter arrived from his previous congregation, it turned out he was not only not an elder he was df'd that the first letter was bogus.

That was quite a scandal...many wondered where the holy spirit was that time.

What ever happened to the others that were in the box with you? If I remember correctly when you first started posting here you were 1 of many in the box?

    Gary:

You might be partly right, i agree there is a lot crap going on in the congr. and usually from experience

there was always one or two jerks on the body to make hell for the rest but i've attented many different congr.

in four different states i have to say the majority were sincere, truly beleived the watchtower crap

and tried to assist others. There was love and unity on the body of elders.

We were all under the spell of the Governing Body and gave our hearts and mind to them

and like fools we never questioned their reasoning and scriptures.

    Just like all cults.

That's my experience as an elder for 22 years and MS for 8.
