DC Public Talk...Truth Absolute or Obselete?

The Public Talk was entitled 'Who are Teaching All Nations the Truth?'.
Quite a heady title you might think. As you might expect the talk was weak in substance. After quite a lengthy introduction that indicated that absolute truth was attainable through God via the law covenant, dreams as in the case of Abraham and ultimately via Jesus.

But who are teaching the truth today? It was only Jehovah's Witneses. There were 3 'proofs'.

    1. Truths relating to belief.
Witnesses hold the Bible as the infallable word of God. Reject Trinity doctrine and reject immortality of the soul.

    2. Truth in manner of worship
Witnesses reject ritual worship, rires and ceremonies. No clergy/laity division. No religious titles such as right reverend.

    3. Personal conduct
Witnesses stand out as different. They pay taxes.(Pity the WTS do their best not to)Not subversive and do not condone wrongdoing.

Thats the proof. It contains the areas the WTS is most confident in. However because the WTS is different in certain areas does it mean they teach TRUTH? These areas have never been the focal point of their preaching. Over the years WTS eschatology has predicted the end in 1914,1925,1975........before 2000.

A good indicator on determining who has been 'teaching the truth' you need look no further than the amount of 'approved' publications. The 'Truth' book and 'Paradise' have long since been discarded for use in the field ministry. Why? Because they are now so inaccurate they would cause more trouble than good if they were used with bible studies. There are only a handful of books that are not 'out of date' with the rest, which could fill a van, hopelessly obselete.

The WTS will always respond by saying that the 'light has got brighter' but that can only at best mean that the 'truth' has only being preached truthfully for the last year or so. The blood issue changed dramatically last June, for example. So for the rest of the WTS history the 'truth' was not being taught. So much for 'truth' being absolute.

    What about Elder/Publisher division?

Speaking of clergy/laity divisions, what about the 144,000/great crowd division?
At least Catholics teach that all the faithful will receive the same reward. I'm
surprised they can say there's no division with a straight face. (On second thought, I guess
    I'm not so surprised)
