Hello everyone,
given the fact of the use of the word « freedom »
by the WTS, it is interesting to remember a very recent
statement in the book « Creator... » pub. in 1998.

Nothing suggests that these spirit creatures were to be like robots in obeying God.
Rather, he endowed them with intelligence and free will.
Biblical accounts indicate that God encourages freedom of thought and freedom of action—confident that these pose no permanent threat to peace and harmony in the universe.
Paul, using the personal name for the Creator, as found in the Hebrew Bible, wrote: “Now Jehovah is the Spirit; and where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom.”—2 Corinthians 3:17.
Do they practice what they preach?
Or to use another pet phrase :” Is it only lip service?”
