Getting you towards being happier

    Amazing few days.

If I learn anything about life it is this simple fact, that the more you put into your lives the more you get out of it.

Find out what it is that makes you happy as a person. What is it that can really help you to feel well again? What hobbies / interests do you have? Could you turn one of your pastimes into your own personal healing mechanism? What did you want to do as a kid, besides pioneering? What courses could you go on? What new things would you ideally like to learn about? Do you have a local college near by? Find out about personal development courses.

So much help and assistance is out there if you are willing to put the effort into your own life to make positive contributions towards the future, after a while of putting into practice your continuing model for change, you will start to recognise the changes that are taking place in your outlook.

To Simon. How about a section of the board dedicated to ex jw's accomplishments in life? This could be inspirational for newly left members to see that there is a life to be had from outside the organisation.

To everyone else, try art, try being creative, try ceramics, fine art, sculpture, recycle materials, try something different, try breaking out of the molds you are in, take yourself out of your emotional comfort zones, acknowledge yourselves, appreciate yourselves, take time out to focus on who the real YOU is, really is. Be prepared for challenges, source, adopt new thinking, make yourself the person who you really believe yourself to be. Create your future. Re-create you. Be honest with yourselves. Give yourself time, don't be overly harsh on your inner child like state, nurture yourself back to full health again, use your intuition, speak to friends that you can trust, inspire yourselves to new things.

My thoughts are with all of you.

To more flying, sunshine, drumming, music, creative art, messing around on old boats, taking in beautiful scenery and giving life some stick. Go for it!!

    peace

    Wow,

Great post Celtic. I agree completely. I would also add, start now, not later. A busy life spent pursuing your joy and helping others pursue their joy is the way to be happy.

I know the busier I am the happier I am.

    hugs

    Joel
