Women on the Governing Body?

  Well probably not. But think about it;

  It is a fact that women generally live longer than men. The time will soon come when by far the greater part of the 'remnant' on earth will be female. What will this mean for the role of the Governing Body?

  Can brothers of the Great Crowd who are now being groomed to take on the duties of the current Governing Body do so while their are still hundreds, if not a few thousand, anointed sisters still alive?

  Of course the Society have gotten themselves into this mess by applying a literal rather than symbolic interpretation of the 144000.
  Concerning the gender of this 'little flock', see what Revelation 14:4 itself actually says;
  
  "They are the men who have kept themselves pure...." Good News Bible

  "These are men who did not defile themselves...." New English Bible

  To complete the verse, even the NWT reads;
  "These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women".

  I can just hear zealous dubs jumping up and down screaming "Of course women can't serve on the Governing Body....they're..WOMEN!"

  But think about it, throughout the history of the nation of Israel as recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures, all of it's Kings and Priests, as appointed by Jehovah God, were male.
  
  In accordance with Jewish custom and Law, Jesus apostles were all male. Not that Jesus was prejudiced, his dealings with many women prove just the opposite (consider John 4:3-43, Luke 7:11-18, and particularly Luke 7:36-50 and Matthew 11:28-30).
  
  Still, it is a fact that all 12 apostles were men, the council of Jerusalem was composed entirely of men and, as a reflection of this 1st century pattern, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses has always been exclusively male.
  
  So what?

  Well the Society teach that for a thousand years (soon to start), this male headship arrangement will be put aside and that resurrected women will serve as KINGS & PRIESTS!

  If we're going to have sisters as our heads in the future, why not now! I for one am ready for it.

  Your theory sounds feasible, except that there are a number of younger bros ie. born after 1914, who are claiming to be of the annointed, having received their calling, after 1935.

  So even if all the older male members of the "remnant" died, there will still be younger brothers to replace them.

  And I sincerely doubt they will EVER allow a woman to be a GB member.

  Of course women should be on the GB. They make excellent cult leaders too, and in fact can often exceed men in this talent. IN Montana a woman devised a very popular cult located on a compound. I forget their name at the moment, but ...

  She showed smarts, because in Montana owning and bearing all kinds of arms is acceptable. So, they are one of the few cults that owns a Tank! That's right. And the Feds are watching, but there is little they can do because she pays her bills on time, had big well armed men guarding her fortress, and they don't do anything technically illegal.

  So, if the ATF-FBI try to pull any crap off on them, they will be waiting with a Tank! Gawd! I love this life ... the truth is stranger than fiction!

  Yes, can you imagine some real tough JW women replacing the wussess on the GB? Then with all that wealth, they start buying Tanks! and fortifying Watch Tower Farms and Paterson University? Yes, and the JW men are so blinded they will will follow. The new slogan would be, 'If Jehovah won't start Armegeddoin, we will!" And of course, the new light would refine this slogan to, 'Jehovah has directed and is using us to carry out his will by starting Armageddon!" This is why they sold billions and billions of magazines for 100 years! They saved up enough tax free money to buy Tanks! Ahhhhh ... This would make for an interesting ending to the WTS 125 year saga. - Amazing

  It's an intriguing thought, isn't it?

  Theoretically there will come a time when the only "anointed" Witnesses will be women. Will they be by-passed by the "given ones" or "Chieftain class"?

  There are only about 8600 'anointed' left. My guess is that less than 4000 of those are men.

  Remove those that don't speak English.
  Remove those that cannot relocate to the USA.
  Remove those that may actually decline an invitation to the GB.
  Remove those that require constant nursing or healthcare.
