After 2 years of hearing about it on this site I finally broke down yesterday and ordered one online. I think I wanted to wait till I was good and ready for it, so I would know I wasnt once again being influenced by somone else. I will begin reading it next week. It will be interesting to see how your impression is coming along of it Shera. Keep us posted.

But of course dont ruin the ending for me

Shera, I'm glad you have the book! It's really good. It did more for me the second time around - I was just more ready for it by then.

I JUST PICKED UP MINE TODAY !

I ordered the 4th edition, revised & updated fro Barnes & Noble, 2 weeks ago for $13.95 !

I've only read the Table of Contents ...and the first paragraph. Intrigueing...

But... do you think the chill going down my spine...was the DEMON jumping out of that evil book, devouring my soul...? Or knowing, that even being SEEN with the book, would get me DF'd...?

    OR, just the ' t i n g l e ' of freedom...?

    Veee shall seeeee, my pretties....

I loved the sections about the failed prophecies. That was an eye opener. I never knew the Witnesses had so much experience ast predicting things that eventually didnt happen.

I recently ordered both Crisis of Conscience and In Search Of Christian Freedom on line. I am nearly finished with COC and I am sooooo glad I began reading it. It would be just another bloatbag xjw complaining and snitching if it weren't for the volumous references and documentation Ray Franz includes.

I never knew the Witnesses had so much experience at predicting things that eventually didnt happen.

Yeah, and to think they never had one lesson!

Not one of their predictions have ever come true.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0914675230/ref=sib_dp_pt/102-2770850-5989732#reader-link

Although I urge people to buy the book thru freeminds.org, the above link will allow interested lurkers to read the first 6 pages of chapter 1, so you can get a taste of the style and tone of it if you are interested in buying/borrowing it. Randy's site (freeminds.org) used to have the entire first chapter available, but now I cannot find it. If anyone else can provide that link, post it here, please.

Edited to add: scroll down the webpage a little, and click on "next page" in order to click thru and see the book. Keep doing this; you will see the table of contents before you find chapter 1...

CoC is a lifechanging book for any exJW. I put it off for years and when I finally decided to read it, I couldn't put it down. 3 days later I was finished with the book and completely finished with this stupid "religion".
