I seriously forgot many of the teachings of JW's. The more I read your posts and do research on my own the more I realize how little I really know about the bible and JW teachings.

My question is this: If Able and even Enoch proved to be true followers of God even though imperfect why was it necessary for God to send his son to die for us? If imperfect humans passed the test then isn't it logical to conclude that a perfect human could and would as well?

I know they teach that Christ bought back what Adam lost but, wouldn't a Loving God give us back perfection and paradise after seeing that even though imperfect we still want to serve him?

I do not get the logic of the ransome sacrafice. How long must God allow suffering to go on? How much evidence does it take to convice everyone that we cannot get along without him?

How many people have to die before God's says ok "I have proven my point"? This logic never did make any sense to me.

If God is the Almighty and capable of providing us with true peace and security why would it matter what Satan or his demons said about him?

Why did he not destroy Satan right after the Flood?

That would make too much sense... It also wouldn't sell many books.

This is one that continues to get harder and harder to understand as I get older. I understood it perfectly once upon a time. I'm not sure if I no longer understand or if I am just sick and tired of it all.

They always said it was the issue of Universal Sovereignty. If God had just destroyed Satan then and restored things, it would not have settled the matter for all times. There were still angels in heaven that could have decided to have a go later themselves like Satan had..........not to mention Satan said that man didn't need God. So we were taught that he had given mankind enough time to prove that in all of his governments, he could not solve the answers to man's problems and needed God.

I think that's a good question . I think the dubs like to look at the command that God gave to adam and eve of filling the earth and subduing it . I think it also has to do with the belief that many people have that science and technology will bring the kind of peace and security that was promised by the messianic kingdom in other words it's more about mankind learning a lesson that they cannot rule themselves in a competent way . I've often thought to myself that once satan was proven a liar by imperfect man and also by the perfect man jesus that it would only seem to be an opportune time to end the madness on this planet and start over again.

Actually, the reason why He had to send his son is so that we wouldn't have to make as many sacrifices for our sins. Jesus was sent to earth so that we wouldn't have to offer up sacrifices of produce and animals. Could you imagine burning a calf in your back yard now? Yeah wouldn't work out so well.

Oh to the other questions I have no clue. No clue at all. I ask myself that at least once a day.

Expanding on this train of throught, why couldn't God simply FORGIVE those humans who demonstrated that they wished to serve him (such as Abel, etc). Wouldn't forgiveness be the LOVING thing to do?
