I need some help here. If anyone has been to Brooklyn headquarters of dubdom, are there any inscriptions or signs on the walls in the entry foyer of the building??

I do remember those horrid original paintings of those pathetic, big eyed children in one of the lobbies. I'll see if I can find a sample. Does anyone know what I mean?

I DO remember some artwork of a big globe with a scripture text up in the lobby somewhere (over the reception desk?), but I can't for the life of me remember it.
I remember reading an account of alanf's about him spending HOURS in that lobby waiting to speak with Harry Peloyan. Perhaps the decor is etched in his mind (poor thing!) and he will pipe up here? or you could PM him...

paintings by Margaret Keane, a JW, now living in California. She used to live in Hawaii. Many of her paintings reflect the "paradise". Since becoming a JW, she doesn't paint the sad faces anymore.
They also used to have many paintings by another artist, but he is now disfellowshipped, so I am sure they took them down. He is the artist who did all the artwork in the old government brochure and some in the Creation book. I know his name, but don't think I should advertise it. He was a close friend of our son in law.
I have been there but don't recall any signs going into the buildings.

Actually to my surprise they have pictures of Jesus ALl over the place, I guess they want visitors to think they believe in Jesus.
The place has changed quite a bit, there is a library, a "store" a video toom, etc.

I visited the place 3 times-- and don't remember any signs like "Abandon all logic ye who enter here" or "world cult headquarters".
But they do have a logo painted on the Adams Street building that says "Read God's Word the Bible Daily so that when we call, you'll be able to logically refute us."
And they did have (as of my last visit a few years ago) an electronic sign atop one of their buildings flashing the time, temperature and number of inaccurate prophecies made by the WTS.
