    Hey you Laptop luvis!

    You maybe interested.............

Because my Laptop does not have a mobile processor it tends to get quite hot, especially if the heating is on in the house. Infact about 6 months ago it had to go back to the manufacturers because the CPU and Motherboard fried!

Anyway I have been looking for a way of cooling it down, without having to turn the central heating off!

I did a search on the Internet and found this http://www.coolerexpress.com/notebookcooler.html; the problem was that they only ship within the USA! I live in the UK.

Problem solved, a close family member was going over to visit her sister. I order the product and gave the company her sister’s home address.

    Heeee hee he!

Anyway if anyone as the same problem I recommend buying one.

Querty - Great! And just in time. Since I use my laptop when I'm writing (books, not emails), it tends to stay in my lap for looooong periods of time, thus baking my, um, lap. I've been using a large thin book upon which to place the laptop, but it doesn't have the fans that your discovery has. See? it would keep both my computer and my, er, lap cooooool.

    Gloryoski!

Glad to be of help. The fans blow air upwards rather than the reverse which is even better if your Laptop fan sucks air up. It's even better if the intake on the LT is exactly over one of the fans on the cooler.

There is a slight increase in noise, I don't find it a problem.

I've found that putting ice in my pants solves two problems.

It's not that expensive, but it looks like the kind of thing a person could make himself, if it wasn't available.

6/9 - Yeah, but it creates another one: soggy drawers. Who can live with soggy drawers? What two problems did you have in mind?

You prob could make on yourself. The problem would come with wiring up of the fans to the PS2. There again you could use batteries.

Ice in your pants! Tends to melt a bit too quickly, good for the emeroids though!

Water and electrics don't mix to well.......especially if your Laptop is was expensive.
