Thanks for your thread and the web site. I am a fan of Carl Sagan. He was a man ahead of the times.
This article makes me want to go out and buy his book called Broca's Brain. Have you read that by any chance?

I loved "Cosmos", I even went out and bought the music by Vangelis. After reading the whole quote, I must admit I feel embarrassed. I believed what I wanted to believe and saw what I wanted to see. I look back on my life as a Witness and all I can feel is that sense of embarrassment at how I duped myself to believe what they taught.
