Things I've done and aprox ages....

  I really like reading everyone stories, and I've been thinking about writing down mine...

  In the mean time to put some things in perspective, I wrote down things I've done and the aprox age....just thought I'd share. This is a list of things I've done and gotten paid for.....

  beauty parlor (14) cashier convenient store(16 again 38) Pizza Parlour (cook)(17) newspaper (advertising)(18) Motel (desk clerk and night auditor)(18 & 23) Restaurant (waitress)(19) Income Tax Preparer(39-current) Stock Broker assistant(33-36) Office Manager(40-44) Green House(12-13) Water Gardens and Koi ponds(39-40) Stripper (adult entertainment)(28-36) Re-upholstery(22-24) Baby sitter(20-21) Realtor's assistant(40-current) Car rental(39-current) data entry(25-35) Dr's Secretary (19-22) school bus driver (22) retail (fabric dept)(23-24) secret shopper(37-38) this works into the above jobs: seamstress bookkeeper things that I didn't get paid for...but learned from dog washer(13) dishwasher (age 5 standing on a chair) house cleaner (age of 5 - current) mother grand mother wife friend I was kinda surprised at how much I've squeezed in....and I realized I've never been NOT working and most of the time I worked at more than one place at a time. Even now..I work 3 completely different jobs...but rarely put in more than 20-25 hours in a week. lisa

  other postives.... married 3 times divorced twice birth two healthy babies one over 10lbs watched all three of my grand children being born owned more than one new car owned more than one home never gone hungry never without adequate shoes or clothes lisa

  You certainly have been a hard worker Lisavegas. I have a couple of questions. Have you lived mostly in the same place or all over? And how did the Watchtower fit into all of this?

  Thank for asking. Born to 16 year old girl in CA and a 29 year old man from NC. Man recently out of Navy and spent time on chain gang for weapons charge. Girl was raised around the truth but had a very hard life, single mother, no father. Man lived a hard life. Never enough food or clothes, dropped out of school in 6th grade. Girl and man get married...I'm born exactly 1year later. Girl and man live hard life and we move around a lot in the beginning all over CA. My first bed was a drawer pulled out of the dresser. Man can't read. Girl has 11th grade education. Man works and spends money on booze then...along come the JW's to save the day. Taught man to read ....from a JW's "learn to read and write book" and "the Truth" . I was 2 years old and had a sister on the way. About three years after my sister was born, my parents were still seeing our worldly relitives and worldly friends...suddenly it all changed. I remember the man trying to quit smoking. I remember him opening one of those tr-fold brown papers that held the WT and AW when then came in. He read something and got mad!!!! He said HOW do they know this? I remember the explaniation about the Faithful Decreet Slaves. It would have been around 1966-67. We shortly move to KY where the need was greater. I was in the 3rd grade. I remember hating the meeting...because I always always got a spanking.

  The man became a elder. I get baptized..... I became a teenager, .....man looses title. We move to NC, my senior year of HS. I graduate HS. I also wanted to get married and have a baby, I did that. Got df'd..... Man and women move away back to KY. I never lived with my first husband. I later followed the only family I'd ever knew back to KY. I married again get reinstated and divorced again, df'd again. Married again and husband was transfered to OH almost 10 years ago. So.....CA, KY, NC, back to KY, and now OH. baptized at 14, df'd at 18 reinstated at 20, df'd at 21, reinstated and at df'd 24. lisa
