  The reason for this post is that I've got a brainstorm. It's about the Silent Lambs website having a contest to see who could write the lyrics and music for a song or album that says it all for the Silent Lambs.

  If done well, it would draw not only media attention, but global attention to the issues raised by the website and also kick up the contributions to their cause. And the group that actually performs the song(s) will get a lot of attention, too

  Okay, COULD this work for them? Is it a plausible idea? Anybody wanna post here to "flesh out" the idea and give it some substance? Anyone else have any comparable ideas?

  This seems like a good idea Frannie. Who would you contact to see if it was something that would supported by the owner of the site? I do songwriting and composing and would love to make an investment in this area. I've not done it for a while as my creative energies have been put on hold. They're actually working against me as I've not devoted myself to any of my artistic urges, so I would love to release this energy on something like this.

  In thinking about approaching the SilentLambs website owner, I'd kinda like to have some examples of lyrics and music ideas as part of the presentation, yanno. And we could volunteer Terry to write the music......heh
