here are some recent quotes from JW literature..

    WT 3/1/99
15 Of course, not all respond favorably now to the message of life; nor will all those who are resurrected during the Millennial Reign of Christ do so. (Isaiah 65:20; Revelation 21:8) The angel declares that parts of the sea are not healed. These marshy, lifeless places are 'given to salt.' (Ezekiel 47:11) As to the people of our day, not all who are offered Jehovah's life-giving water accept it. (Isaiah 6:10) At Armageddon, all of those who have chosen to remain in a spiritually lifeless and sick condition will be given to salt, that is, destroyed forever. (Revelation 19:11-21) However, those who have been faithfully drinking these waters can hope to survive and see the final fulfillment of this prophecy.

    WT 6/15/99
Jehovah and his Son, Jesus Christ, truly want all kinds of people to have the opportunity to learn Bible truth. God's Word can do more than help individuals to stop being vandals right now. It can motivate them to make further progress in applying divine principles. As a result, they become members of an international brotherhood known for cleanness and good manners, the worldwide congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In harmony with Ephesians 4:24, these sincere Christians have "put on the new personality which was created according to God's will in true righteousness and loyalty." Soon the world will be filled with such people because these will be the only ones who will survive and live forever.-Compare Luke 23:43.

    Just to name a few...

The JW problem is that just as the bible teaches of no immortal soul and litteral eternal torment, it doesn't teach that people in the harmageddon will go to 2nd death, it teaches a lot will be slain (zech 13/rev 14 - 2/3 of earth according to zech 13) but it also teaches that the soul pays the bill of its sin by death in this life (ezk 18/romans 6) and it teaches of a resurrection of just and unjust (john 5). Harmageddon is show of God's sovereignity, the final lesson to be learned, not about judging people.

I personally believe Rutherford made this teaching along with other nonlogics such as denying Adam a resurrection, of two reasons:
    1. JWs had been too generous about seats in the reign, little crowd and when they became big they had a problem, also in light of their hard legalistic rules. The thing is that Jesus don't require that much of nonsaints, just good morals and believing. For saints requirements however, study the apostles hard and find out for yourself.
    2. his struggle with the hellfiering beast of the US churches required of him to become harsher.

I think you could also blaim the individual 'sheepminded' JW member for not revolting against this teaching. Must be hard for the insightfull among them to preach this doctrine. I have talked to several of them, they normally keep quite.

But afterall, it gets customers to the shop just like the repulsive hellteaching of the church does. JW just piss of more people that they do, because JW requires much more of people to survive harmageddon that the churches to escape eternity in hell.

    God Bless

That's a very interesting observation, Rev B. Thanks.

15 Of course, not all people like an arrogant liar; nor will those who rise at the resurrection. The angel declares that parts of the sea are not healed. These people require more and more love. As to the people of our day, not all who we talk to believe us. At Armageddon, all of us who have chosen to remain will save the angels much work, we will be given to salt, but even that won't work. However, those who have been faithfully drinking this poison without harm can hope to survive and see the final fulfillment of this prophecy.

God truly want all kinds of people to have the opportunity to learn the truth about themselves. God's Word can do more than help individuals to stop being vandals right now. It can motivate them to make further progress in applying divine principles. With such knowledge, they can never be led away to become members of a cult known for giving themselves clean clothes, like the worldwide congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In harmony with Ephesians 4:24, these sincere Christians have "put on the new person which was created according to God's will in true righteousness and loyalty." Soon the world will be filled with such people because of the explosion of information and so more people will survive and live forever.-Compare Luke 23:43.

    Hello?
Quoted "I think you could also blaim the individual 'sheepminded' JW member for not revolting against this teaching. Must be hard for the insightfull among them to preach this doctrine. I have talked to several of them, they normally keep quite.

Many years ago I talked to one of the Anointed and "demanded" to speak with him even though I was a df. I asked why the WT didn't publish what I knew by insight. We then discussed some points and he agreed (from his heart) that I was correct in my understandings, BUT untill the GB and Society changed it's views there was nothing he could do! That was the last contact with JW's except for a visit from "Doc" the then Prez. Franz doctor.

Most with "insight" have left I think and there apears to be no new insight with in the borg. Yet I as well as others I see have this insight and are progressing ans in very much agreement. What do you make of that?
