Page 18 of part 4 is missing. Can you insert it somewhere? And what are the boxed red x's at the end of Part 5? Thanks.

Sorry, here is the missing page. I tried to edit my original post to squeeze it in there but but it won't let me for some reason. Try a page refresh for your red x.

Can someone post on here the article on Secret and Beneficial Societies mentioned by Springmeier? In my opinion Russell doesn't think anymore highly of the Free Masons, than he does other societies. Springmeier omits this comment immediately after the Free Masons: Russell is not just talking about the Catholic Societies that he deemed dangerous.

"In proportion as such societies consume valuable time in foolish, senseless rites and ceremonies, and in substituting the worship of their officers, and the use of words and symbols which have no meaning to them, for the worship of God, in his appointed way--through Christ, and according to knowledge and the spirit of a sound mind--in that proportion these societies are grievous evils, regardless of the financial gains or losses connected with membership in them.?"

Moreover, Russell does not condemn Life Insurance Societies conducted upon business principles, but he has some objections as to their effects on a personal level. Also, when the time of trouble comes, he says, the only thing that will really count will be to "Trust in the Lord."

Does it really matter? The Jesuits, Freemasons, Templars, Vatican, Priory De Sion are all rooted in the Mystery religion that makes of International Freemasonry.

I wonder why I can't see anything except little squares for all these free mason posts by tatt. I am sure the material is interesting.

Thanks, TATT, for all the trouble and keep up the good work. I think this book is certainly filling in the gaps of CTR's family life with information that others have missed. For instance, I never knew that both father and son married sisters. Not that I am suggesting this is wrong, mind you, merely that it is a revelation. Also, imagine having a sister and a dad both having an almost messianic belief in him. Bet it made it hard to get him to do the dishes after dinner!

Swedenborg [founder of The Church Of The New Jerusalem] was big in Europe, especially regarding his expansive interpretations on the Book of Revelation, but it was also interesting to note his influence on Russell

Thanks again tatt, look forward to the rest.

Now if only we could get someone to do the same with that odious jerk Rutherford. What on earth would have made an ass like him tick??

    Cheers
