    I must have overlooked it.

It seems the Kingdom Hiearchy would be important enough to be mentioned.

Did Jesus ever discuss the "Kingdom Arrangement"?

Did Jesus confirm his cabinet members of the 144,000?

The WTS uses the scripture about other sheep and tries to tie it into Revelation written long after Jesus died.

    Nope...

He did mention a "little flock"... which obviously must be the 144,000, according to celebrated Watchtower Scholars.

    Operative word "obviously"?

Do most people agree that this is enough evidence that Jesus upheld the Kingdom Hierarchy of the 144,000?

Now look- you might think heaven is a big place. But truthfully there's just not enough room up there for all of us. The number is fixed at 144,000 and that's that. Quit yer bitchin'.

It doesn't really matter what Jesus really said or didn't say. The Watchtower will interpolate into the Scriptures whatever they wanted him to say. Using whatever rhetorical methods they have at their disposal, they merely overwrite what was written (some of it quite ambiguous) with modern day organizational interpretations.

It's like one of those Godzilla movies that was filmed in Japanese but was dubbed over in English. It is unrecognizable to the Japanese, humorous to Americans, and believeable to children.

    Well put as usual Jeremy!

This thread reminds me of a joke I heard, A guy dies and goes to heaven and St, Peter is showing him around, the guy notices several high-walled city like places, from which is coming some rather poor singing,"What are they?" he asks, and St.Peter replies "Oh inside each of those are 144,000 jehovah's witnesses, they think they are the only ones up here!"

It is a doctrine of the WTBTS and I don't agree with WTBTS hierarchy of the 144,000. I can read Jesus words until I am blue in the face and still can not say that he was referring to the 12 apostles as the little flock until the number of 144,000 is fullfilled. They just probably borrowed from Russell who borrowed it from other churches! Now there is your meat at due season! They claim that Paul's writings are not for the great crowd, none partakers and the multitude, but the 144,000!

Where is 144,000 ever mentioned in the New Testament but Revelations? I thik it refers to some faithfull Israelites that were not of that fold!

I think a child can discern that it's a doctrine made up by the WTBTS. Let just change them to spiritual Israelites and ignore the 12,000 faithful members of each tribe.

Anyhow as far as Jesus confirming the 144,000 I dont think he picked them but his FATHER who brought them to Jesus.
