Look at how long it to the abused victims of the Catholic Church to be heard in the media, so many victims had to fight for their lives to be heard.
No one wants to believe this is truly happeningespecially in a trusted religion like the Catholics or JW's. I mean JW's come on they are just sweet little old ladies that go door to door they would never have pedophiles in their religion! I have been told this to my face. Also look at how long the investagation of Penn State took for it to finally hit the media. Parents were going to the police about Jerry Sandusky way back in the 1990's and nothing was being done.
Even now Penn State is in the new and then you hear nothing like there has been nothing since Friday about it and there might not be for weeks then it will come up again hopefully.
No one wants to believe that children are being rapped. It is so much easier to turn a blind eye to it even in their own families. There is a elder in my hall who has a niece and this girls grandparents are also in the truth the grnadfather is an elder also. A fellow elder started to fondle the little girl at the assemblies when she was eight years old in the swimming pool. Yet the family the GRANDDPARENTS stood up for the pedophile in so many ways even blaming their granddaughter because she sat on the pedophiles lap when she was 16 years old saying she brought it on herself by doing that and they are ticked off at the granddaughter because she left the truth.
It truly blows your mind.
