Forthwith is a discussion on Ch 6 from the 'Shepherding the Flock of God' publication by the WTS Penn/NY. This publication like all publications of the WTS is free of charge (no publication is sold by the WTS as of 'donation arrangement') though the WTS humbly accepts donations its publications that are part of a wide body of global 'Bible Education Work'

I want to also REITERATE that the WTS publically proclaims in their publications and website that the are NOT a SECRET SOCIETY and as such discussions of this nature have their place amongst JWs and those interested in them....

This discussion is being held to assist those in preparing for the KS as well as drawing discernment by those who are not Elders or MSs.

Chapter Six is entitled : Preparing for the Judicial Hearing

    Subheadings:

Selecting the Judicial Committee and Chairman

Preparing Your Mind and Heart to Judge

Inviting the Accused to the Judicial Hearing

    Meeting With Marriage Mates

    Meeting With Baptized Minors

    Meeting With Incarcerated Ones

    If the Accused Threatens Suicide

If the Accused Threatens Legal Action

    What happened?

Page 84: If the accused is a married sister, it is best to have her believing husband present for the hearing. He is her head, and his efforts to restore her and direct her can be very helpful.

According to the old book, only the accused and 3 or more elders should be present.

    Old publication

    Married people.

If the wrongdoer is a married woman, it would be best to

meet with her and her believing husband.

He is her head, and his efforts to restore her and direct

    her can be very helpful.

If the Accused Threatens legal Action

Interesting read. Naver say anything to the outsiders without talking to the branch first.

    If the Accused Threatens Suicide

    Now that's new.

How common must this be, if they have to put in in print to distribute to 100's of thousands of elders?

Pretty scary. You'd think a large number of suicides over disfellowshipping would raise a red flag with somebody....

    K S-10 6:18 [...] If there is

a need to do so, the elders may obtain the inquirer's name and phone number and inform him that their attorney will contact him.

Is the WT implying that They’ll provide attorneys to defend the elders against legal actions?

Nugget doesn't like the idea of me attending her Judicial -as her head.

What portion of my JC meeting is she allowed to attend?
