JoinedJW from 1973 to 1996. Following investigation by a judicial committee under charges of apostosy I chose to dissassociate. Appeared briefly on channel 9 Sunday programme during the child abuse stories run in 2003. Have extensive research on chronology, history of WT, and through association directly and indirectly am in contact with over 63 ex-JWs in the Sydney area. Almost all left after discovering major doctrinal flaw which subsequently led to a web of similar issues. Without exception, I can say all are probably happier now than ever. None have any regrets about leaving, although a few suffer the terrible tragedy of families divided by the practise of JW shunning.
