I wonder how accurate this is and if there has been an increase decrease or about the same

Not sure if these are the comparable numbers. If so, it seems like a fairly modest increase (20'000) .
hm this is interesting from the 2014 yearbook it is
7,965,954 peak publishers.
So 2013-2014: 235'591 increase in publishers
2014-2015: 18'560 increase in publishers.
If this is true then it is MASSIVE and would imply a decrease in the western world for sure!
But I am not sure I am comparing the relevant numbers.

The 2012 to 2013 increase was 182,000. The 2013 to 2014 increase was 235,000. So 20,000. Yeah. The work is speeding up, clearly...

That is an increase of 0.23% -- which rounds to 0%. I'm pretty sure that is the first 0% in nearly 40 years.
I wasn't expecting the flatline to occur until the end of this decade.
Interesting that hours reported were "over a billion", when in the previous year it was very nearly 2 billion. Such vague language almost certainly masks a decline in hours.
Number of baptisms continues to decline: 2013 had 277,344, 2014 had 275,581, 2015 had 260,273. The baptisms dropped by 5.6% from 2014 to 2015.
The organization is withering, and much sooner than I anticipated.
Nothing but bad news all around for top leadership!
