In the Australian royal commission enquiry into child abuse and the way institutions handle such is underway.

Today the judge said the following in response to the way judicial committees operate:

(not verbatim...but the gist of his comments are:)

"so a young woman, a suspected victim of abuse or someone accused of a sin, would have to appear before three older men in a 'judicial committee' and relate in detail her ordeal? She would not be allowed to have another support person, a woman, present? Do you realise how inappropriate that is?"

It seems that the law is catching up to the biased inner workings of the way judicial committees operate.

Interestingly, the evil methodology of the judicial meetings is being exposed. So, many people are now knowing the repressive nature of this Organization.

And not only that, but the dark underbelly of the congregations is also being exposed. Yesterday's witness, the woman who was told to bottle her tears in a skin bottle, revealed how unkind and unloving the whole congregation is, including women who accused her of lying. Her own mother was complacent in the abuse.

The judicial meetings are horribly abusive and the rest of the congregation falls in line and continues the abuse - the JW women are extensions of the male abuse. The abusive behavior is not just confined to the elders - it is systemic.

It is utterly inappropriate, for anyone to be isolated in a JC, especially a victim of sex crime. Its disgusting.

I think it's highly appropriate that this really gets its start Down Under.

Aussies have a well-deserved reputation for cutting through and not putting up with bullshit (maybe it's a result of having all the wildlife in that country constantly wanting to kill you).

In this programme, aired on BBC Radio 4, a victim mentioned that she was asked by the older men "how far apart her legs were", and was asked to show them..

Inappropriate is not a strong enough word..

This isolation is also unscriptural. where is the meeting at "the gate" the "before the whole congregation"?

Where is the right to record, to hold the judges responsible?
