I have just lost hours collating, editing hundreds of images on this useless s*** program. Its called Olympus Viewer 3 and it decided to shut down and wiped out my work. This was part of a business i was creating.
Back ups I never stood a chance no more Olympus cameras for me. im back to the old film one from now on.
The Australian agent suffered rom the yawns when called.
Did I list this under jokes. Well ha de ha F ha.
Yea Olympus was big player long ago but has never been able to gain a good standing in the digital world. Even a basic nikon or cannon digital slr comes with good editing software and is well worth it. I love film for its retro cool but it simply dosent stand up in convience or even quality in the digital age
*edited to add: if you like the camera dont give up it. Just get better editing/organizing software. Theres lots of free/paid options that wont crash on you.
Image editing takes loads of memory.
If your PC struggles, you're more likely to have these sort of program crashes.
It sounds cruel to say it, but there's no substitute for saving often and having backups.
