A friend of mine just got given a recording of the last CA which was held here a couple of weeks ago and she said there's been a change to the 144k teaching. She didn't understand what the hell they were rabbiting on about. She's really waking up as a result of all these changes, and so are some others she knows.
Anyone know of any change to the 144k doctrine?
Maybe it is the change in teaching that the Slave is not the remnant of the 144000 but the Governing Body? That all the other of the "annointed" remnant are Domestics along with the "Other Sheep"?
They keep inching along until they'll get to the point that they (the GB) are really the mediators or 'Jesus Class' and then one day, the Saviours or 'Jehovah Class'.

Change is easy if you know how. The only change that would make sense is to add a few zeros to the number (14,000,000) to reduce the need to go through reasoning contortions to defend a teaching that flies in the face of the evidence. Even among Watchtower adherents alone (from 1876 until the present), the number professing a heavenly hope would easily exceed 144,000.
When the numbers get all screwy remember the old fall back- 'many are called but few are chosen'.

Too many were claiming to be 'announted(TM)'. So the GB told us those partaking of the crackers and vinegar were nutters.

of baptized individuals who partake of the emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does this total represent the number of anointed
ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number of factors—including past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalance—might cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling. We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.
What a nice excuse for the Governing Paedophile Loving Body to assume total control.
This is how I see the structure....
The Governing Body = Higher than god (possibly ‘mentally imbalanced’ as they also claim to be ‘anointed’)
Jehovah(TM) doesn't exist. Jesus doesn't exist. Only the Governing Body exist who are lovers of paedophiles.'Anointed' = All mental cases to be swept under the rug

As far as a doctrinal endgame, it wouldn’t surprise me now that everybody’s a domestic, the line gets erased, or at the very least, the 144000 becomes symbolic.
Theologically, the two-tiered system is untenable, but they’ve differentiated the tiers that matter to them the most:
(1) Governing Body
(2) Everybody else.
