Reasoning Book, as quoted in O P

"A key factor is that the Witnesses really believe that the Bible is God’s Word and that what it contains is there for our instruction. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:11) So they do not resort to philosophical arguments to evade its clear statements of truth "

    Really? ....The Bible Says....Acts 16.30

And he brought them outside and said: “Sirs, what must I do to get saved?” 31 They said: “Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will get saved, you and your household.”

The WTS says ...Believe on The Watchtower Society to be saved !

    The Bible says.. Acts 15.28
For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to YOU, except these necessary things,

The Watchtower adds Non Biblical rules........... to refuse Tobacco, Birthday Celebrations, Christmas, Any Public Holiday celebration. They take it upon themselves to decide which part of blood is acceptable even if one's life is threatened. If they simply followed Scripture, wouldn't it be simple???

thetrueone - We shouldn't underestimate the importance of an organization, even JWN is being moderated to ensure that things go on smoothly, how much more an organization with more than 7 million devouts. Even countries like Estonia with just over one million citizens have a government, so what would we expect of a JW with 7 million sheeples.

On a bigger picture, the real world we live in is also a cult of its own, we have this constant desire to belong to a caucus and to seek acceptability, even here, we many times see the need to intensify the bond of friendship beyond the JWN virtual interface and meetup for an apostafest. So, the point of castigating the org. carries no solid weight.

BlueBrother - If the watchtower advises you to believe in them in order to be saved, what tool do they use to achieve this end?, the koran?, the torah?, Of course Not, Its the bible and if you claim the watchtower add non biblical rules to suport their doctrines, please mention one of those rules.

Well, that is just about the most idiotically off-topic thing I have read in this decade.

On a thread about how JWs arrive at their explanation of the bible - we get this from the original poster:

The JW organization is valid because Estonia has a government.

    Wowzers - what incomparable logic!

Yeah, and they are being really lax with you. I was sure you'd be banned after that Outlaw thread, but I think it just got deleted; lucky you. Anyway, you can't call a moderated forum an organization that's just silly. Organization is needed only to keep the forum free from incriminating things that would get it shut down. No one is looking over threads making sure "things go smoothy." What planet do you live on by the way? Does everybody their replace their shirts with teenage facial hair like you do?

I believe he mentioned several. Or did you only want him to mention one?

james_woods - It may not be reasonable to you, because you have an agenda plotted towards tearing the poor organization, but come to think of it, if we have a Moderator on JWN to prevent disorder, why shouldnt we have an hierachichal structure in the watchtower

There are NOT seven million "devouts".

It would not be necessary to castigate the org. if they did not say they were the only way to God and if they did not keep their people in bondage with fear.

sabastiuos -Your point is off logic, so you claim not to see any similarity between an organization and a JWN Mod.?, Poor you.

Dont deceive yourself, come out of your angry shell, put off the apostatic shirt and try to see things more liberally, what do you see arround without a form of control mechanism?. Please tell me, do you expect people to attend the meetings and put the whole place in chaos?, without program?, without some form of sanctions for disorderliness or commendation for conducts worth of imitation?. hmmmm. Please find some ther point, that reasoning of yours is weak.
