OMG - an ex-bethelite was telling me this evening that he knew Micheal Porter when he was at bethel himself.

The sister Michael Porter got married to has children. He had been in Bethel (about 3 years) before getting married. He was an appointed elder.

BUT GET THIS - THE SISTER HE MARRIED HAS CHILDREN FROM A PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP. Michael Porter got reproved a year after he got married. I am shocked and disgusted.

Would she have known about his past before she married him. I doubt it very much. JWs are very very secretive about pedophiles and their activities.

The ex bethlite who told me about Michael Porter used to work alongside him in the kitchen department for a short while.

Yes it is appalling - I left jws because a pedophile move into our congregation (in North London too). I was told not to warn anyone. But in the end I was forced to warn a family that he was getting close to. After that I came on here and my eyes were opened.

Hope you decide to stay and learn like we all are.

why doesnt this pedophile's wife divorce him? She can legally and scripturally get a divorce since he has been involved in pornea (of the sickest kind). But if the elders encourage her to stay and she sleeps with the baby f*c*er, she is stuck scripturally. I am sure as a JW that is what she is worried about.

And can you imagine the parents of the kids in the congo he is attending? I bet they keep them close to them before, during, and after the meetings.

They should "revoke his implied invitation" to attend the Kingdom Hall. The UK judicial system should revoke the judge's privlege of practicing law. Apparently he is just practicing.

In 1998 I was at a meeting where a brother who knew that a married brother sitting in the audience, had been a practicing child molester. After the meeting ended, immediately this brother jumped up on the stage grabbed the microphone from the wt conductor and yelled out to the congregation," Brother so and so sitting over there is a child molester and you should protect your children!" This guy yelling this out for all to hear, became my new hero! Then the wt conductor grabbed the mic. back and said," Yes friends the elders are aware of this and it's being handled" .

However I digress, back to this molesters wife. Apparently this guy had done this for 30 years to local young witness girls. He got dfed, sent to jail, but guess what? Faithful jdub wife stuck with him even visiting him in jail for, you know what, sick stuff, huh? Bastard wife probably knew what her husband was doing for years and just turned her head the other way. How else could you explain a reaction like the one she gave, accepting a pedophile for a husband???
