letter from a Witness woman in Sweden...ps. she found me through my web site. Dear Donald, before going to Denmark, just want to tell you I have read Father's Touch and will do it again. I feel so sorry to read what your family had to go thrue especially for not getting the support from the congregation that you really had the right to have. Thats why I work hard to let elders understand the importance of make it the right way from the beginning to the end to support the innocent children and never ever support the abuser in a way so that they can continue. A abuser place is behind the stiff curtains (Jail) or in hospital for treatments for years and years. Donald I am so proud of you. Even though I havent met you I feel proud to learn about you. Jehovah will never ever condemn any in your situation. He looks to what we have been truh and judges us from hes wjue (the spelling?) People are often haesty to judge other. You keep on making your own choices, its your life no one can walk in your shoes. I was the lucky one that happen to have elders that really protected me and understod when I run away from home but sad to say it sint allways that way. That why your book is sutch a good learningbook I will have with mee when discuss this matter with alders, therapists teachers and so on. The two first book is allready past to friend of mine and som sisters are afraid I will give them away before they can have their book. I told them I can have moore in the future. Take care, greetings an love to you all especially to your mother my sister in faith. _________

Not the official JW teaching. Sorry, but all active homosexuals will be killed by God at Harmageddon and are worthy of the Second Death. "Situation" has nothing to do with it.

This is an important point, imho. Elders & brothers are not asking for your book ------whispering sisters are. I think women are more prone to realize that there's a problem - they just think it's a "rare event". I bet some sisters don't even realize how many sisters are whispering about the rape that happened to them and/or their children. Women, having no power in the WTBTS, must be content to whisper amongst themselves - or take drugs for depression.

The WT works hard through the elders, CO's & articles to keep the locals isolated, even from each other. The WT teaches jw's "to speak only upbuilding things to our brothers and sisters" - and child rape sure isn't upbuilding, now is it? The WT also teaches that a woman is "prone to" gossip, particularily if she hasn't enough to keep her busy. Well, telling another sister that Brother or Sister ............... molested your child *just might be* considered gossip - even slander, which is punishable with disfellowshipping.

I hope the woman who wrote you keeps on talking. The German WT Branch said that "there are no cases of child abuse in Germany".....guess that lie isn't holding up in Sweden, eh?

    Hey Donald,

I just got an email from a lurker at this board ((((((((((one of my favorite lurkers btw))))))))))), and she agrees - jw women are the abuse whisperers. We had no power, and we knew it.

Only upon leaving did we realize what we gave to the WT - and what was taken from us. Many of us stopped whispering.

Your book shouts for all of us. Thank you.

You bet I shout out for women...I'm a feminist...How could I not be, having witnessed my mother's and sister's oppression!! I think Jesus had a lot more respect for women than most of his modern-day disciples!
