There have been some recent posts lately about who is "running" the WTS these days.  It has been correctly pointed out that the de facto ruler of the WTS is Ted (the "boss") Jaracz.  Many newer ones here may not know much about him.  That is why I'm going to ask a favor.

I believe it was the British Panorama program on dubs and child abuse that showed the scene where the reporter confronted Jaracz about the society's policies on abuse.  I swear I'm not making this up:  if anyone looked and acted "demonized", it was Jaracz in that scene.  The scene was very short, but Jaracz was clearly caught off guard by the reporter.

I think it might be beneficial for anyone who has a copy of that show and the proper software to cut out that scene and post a link to it for people who are curious about the man Ted Jaracz.  Would someone be willing to do this?

 befuddled, understandably defensive with an irrelevant argument, but "demonized" . . .  I don't know.  I'll have to look at it again. 

But you are right, he seems to be the 'boss'.

I know the man well enough to know that he was angry, very angry. I would hate to have been the JW in charge of security that weekend. Jaracz would certainly have had the sap disemboweled with a toothpick for allowing enemy 'wordly' people within the fall of his gloomy shadow.

I suspect that he has taken to looking over his shoulder these days and sees BBC reporters hiding in every corner of his little life.

I remember watchting this entire video and seeing JACKASS' face.  Yet each link I go to in order to view it now is saying it is outdated and can't be seen.

I should have saved it to disc then, but did not. 

Does anyone actually have the video and/ or are you able to view from the original site on the BBC or any other sites that are hosting the link?

I just finished watching the video on Silent Lambs website. Earlier this evening I watched Mystic River, a movie which deals, in part, with the kidnap and rape of a young boy, and the long term effects it had on him. Probably both of these together was not a good idea; I'm feeling very emotional right now.

What the hell was the problem with the mother of the two girls in the video from the BBC news show? She knew what was happening, yet she did nothing to stop it, other than talk to the damned elders. When they told her to pray and read her bible more, she did. Were her fingers broken, so she couldn't call the police? If someone were to beat and rape my children (if I had any), I would tear them apart with my bare hands to protect my kids. And yet this woman stood by until the physical signs of abuse were so obvious that the authorities were going to take her kids away from her; only then did she walk away from the man she'd allowed to hurt her daughters for so long. Sorry, I can't see her as a victim, as much as she was portrayed as one. The victims were the kids who were betrayed by their church and by their parents.

I'm only asking for the small snippet with Jaracz, not the whole Panorama show. There are already links to that whole show in this thread.  My request involves only a very small amount of band width.
