	Larc, I don't think it is rose colored glasses. Life is all about survival. Life occurs on a number of levels. Individual Family Group Species Ecosystem Planet I think we have instincts that constantly struggle with each other internally, always attempting to sublimate each other. Survival instinct, familial ties, group dynamics, natural guilt among them. Of course this is a very simplistic approach. That is one of the reasons I am going back to school to study Sociology.
